At West Fraser, our Press Support Technician is responsible for maintaining overall safety and efficiency in the Press Area.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Respond to production issues in the Press Area and assist the Control Room operator when needed.
- Use mobile equipment for waste material disposal.
- Be able to identify problems in the Press Area and fix them accordingly.
- Assist in down day housekeeping responsibilities such as ice blasting of the press and press pit cleanup.
- Train in operational roles, understanding new processes and ideas, and be able to prove developmental progression.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by leadership team.
- Work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.
- Eligible to legally work in the United States
- High School diploma or equivalent education
- Ability to work as part of a team and deliver value to the team
- Be reliable and possess consistent and predictable attendance behavior.
