Responsible for loading, operating, and unloading rubber press equipment to manufacture products that meet all product specifications, quality standards, and production requirements while minimizing waste and maintaining a safe work environment.
Work schedule:
rotating 3-2-2-3 shift pattern (3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off, weekends included), 8:00 PM-8:00 AM. This is not a climate-controlled environment — very hot during summer months. Drug screening not required; onsite eye exam is required. Candidates may start while criminal background checks are pending, once all checks have been completed.
- Load raw materials into the press per established procedures, ensuring proper weight and material distribution for consistent mold coverage
- Monitor and operate press equipment to ensure lubrication, temperature, tonnage, and cycle times meet product specifications
- Report equipment issues or process deficiencies to setup technician or supervisor
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; properly dispose of scrap, waste, and other materials in designated locations
- Ensure cleanliness of equipment and workstations by removing oil, cured scrap, water, and other contaminants before/after curing
- Accurately complete production, quality, and process documentation
- Trim excess material from pads, inspect stoppers for quality defects, and perform corrective actions when defects are identified
- Process manufactured pads through the cooling unit per established procedures
- Stack and place pads or stoppers onto pallets or designated storage locations
- Follow all safety policies, environmental procedures, and Quality System Regulations (QSRs)
- Experience following production documentation, batch records, or quality specifications

- Steel toe or composite shoes required
- Must pass onsite eye exam
- Must clear criminal background checks (may start while pending completion)

- Willingness to work rotating 3-2-2-3 overnight shift schedule
