As a Senior Technician, Logistics at Collins Aerospace, you’ll play a critical role in supporting mission‑ready deliveries that empower customers across the aerospace and defense industry.

In this high‑impact position, you’ll apply your expertise to ensure accurate documentation, compliant packaging, and seamless coordination across internal teams, carriers, and government partners. This is a 1st Shift Position - Mon-Fri 7-3:30

• Create Bills of Lading and shipping labels.
• Create and submit time-sensitive Shipping Instructions Requests.
• Process time-sensitive Shipping Instructions for quick turnaround shipments.
• Schedule shipment pick-ups, coordinating with Logistics Team, carriers/freight forwarders and US Government.
• Review contracts to ensure shipments and packaging documents are made and packaged according to customer’s requirements.
• Maintain compliance and accuracy of shipping documentation requirements.
• Handle heavy email communications with agents/customers, both internal and external.
• Create and maintain shipment reports as required.
• Interact with internal and external customers in a positive, productive, and professional manner.
• Work well in a team environment, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
• Be open to change and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Compile contractual information for shipping documentation from sales/production orders, customer contracts, Shipping Information and Checklists, and applicable Standards/instructions for completion of the required forms for each shipment.
• Prepare and process Ammunition Data Cards using the Worldwide Ammunition-data Repository Program (WARP).
• Prepare Manufacturing Data Cards.
• Coordinates with Program Management, Engineering, Quality Assurance and Planning departments to process documents and resolve issues in order to comply with contractual and customer expectations.
• Type, reproduce, distribute, and file ammo data cards, certificates of conformance, and other contractual correspondence as required.
• Receive and add new delivery documents and DWORs to the commit schedule.
• Process DWORs
• Process Delivery Documents Pull required documentation for packaging.
• Distribute processed documents to applicable cells.
• Compile and process data using SAP and Excel.
• Apply senior-level skills and job knowledge in area of specialization.
