A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Maintenance Technician (Day Shift | Equipment Maintenance). This role offers career growth, a supportive work environment, and full-time hours (40+ per week).
DETAILS AND COMPENSATIONLocation:
Sumter, SC – 100% on-site
Payrate: $21.40/hr
Required Availability:
Full-Time (40+ hrs/week) | Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM (12-hour shifts) Occasional Fridays for overtime based on business needs
Training is on day shift, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, for a minimum of 6 weeks
Overtime as needed
The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician will set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment to meet daily production goals while supporting quality and minimizing downtime. This role performs preventative maintenance, documents equipment performance, and helps keep manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently. This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
RESPONSIBILITIES- Set up, operate, optimize, change over, troubleshoot, and maintain assigned production equipment
- Meet/exceed production standards while maintaining product quality and controlling waste
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and routine maintenance as needed for efficient operation
- Adjust, troubleshoot, clean, and repair equipment to keep machines running within required specifications
- Maintain accurate equipment logs and downtime/maintenance records with clear, legible documentation
- Monitor machine operation; ensure safety guards are in place and functioning properly
- Replenish/monitor component inventories at the machine level and notify material support when supplies are low
- Perform and document required quality checks; address in-process issues to prevent product holds
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety/quality procedures

High School Diploma or GED (verifiable) - Attendance:
Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days - Experience:
2+ years of manufacturing experience (required) - Mechanical/Technical
Skills:
Equipment troubleshooting/repair aptitude; comfortable performing routine maintenance/PM work - Documentation:
Strong ability to complete accurate written logs/records - Safety:
Steel-toe or composite-toe shoes required
