Required Skills:

Clinicians must have experience in neuro stepdown cardiac telemetry. Required skills include the following: IV starts port access PICC central peripheral line care blood product administration. Respiratory care: trach management oxygen delivery nasal cannula masks portable O2 HFNC CPAP/BIPAP chest tubes Emerson/Pleur-evac ABG interpretation and non-invasive support. GI care: feeding tube management. Medication skills: PCA procedural sedation administration heparin protocols and managing cardiac and vasoactive drips no titration.

Cardiovascular care: post MI cardiac caths angiograms dysrhythmia management interpretation telemetry on the unit monitoring. Additional competencies: wound care/wound vac isolation precautions renal failure pre/post hemodialysis and rapid response team use. Floating:
While Prisma Health prioritizes keeping staff in their home unit agency staff are required to float to other units or campuses as needed. Floating is limited to areas where staff are qualified and have documented competencies. Charting: 1 yr of EPIC experience required Hospital Highlights:
