Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Join our Tidelands Health team and help people live better lives through better health.

The LPN participates in the provision of nursing care by performing specific activities and technical procedures as delegated by a Registered Nurse.

• Planning and managing patient care according to each patient’s needs
• Interviewing patients and recording their medical history
• Obtaining patient vital signs and escorting patients to their rooms
• Administering injections of medications
• Verifying that patient charts are updated promptly and accurately
• Observing and recording patients’ conditions and reactions to medications and treatments

Diploma as a Practical Nurse

Clinical LPN experience

Works with patients, families, physicians, and other health care providers.

Epic experience preferred.

Strong PC skills preferred.

• Basic Life Support Certified – American Heart Association required within 30 days of hire; recertification every two years required
• Licensed Practical Nurse – South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation with South Carolina Board of Nursing
