RN EP Laboratory

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse in the EP Lab, you are responsible for the direct and indirect total nursing care of your patient assignment. You will provide services such as caring for cardiac and peripheral procedural patients, post‑sheath removal, recognition of groin complications, EKG interpretation, abnormal lab value recognition and reporting of these results to the physician.

• Provide care for adult patients ages 18‑64 and geriatric patients 65 and older
• Serve as the subject‑matter expert of all invasive procedures, preparing patients appropriately according to policy
• Manage efficient patient flow, including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care, and arranging testing and admissions
• Provide therapeutic services necessary for patient care
• Maintain and review patient records, including posting tests and examination results

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification obtained within 90 days of employment start date (RN)
• Registered Nurse license
• Associate Degree in Nursing obtained within 90 days of employment start date
