We’re Looking for a Registered Nurse:

As the Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing hand‑on, person‑centered resident care, proper and timely administration of medications and treatments, accurate verbal and written reports, and rapid response to any emergency situations.

POSITION SUMMARY
:
Responsible for delivering person‑centered care based on the needs and interests of residents and members while preserving their dignity and quality of life.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
:

  • Performs professional and restorative nursing services, including resident assessments, recording vital signs, and administering medications and treatments.
  • Maintains timely documentation of written and verbal reports to ensure quality care is provided.
  • Interacts with the resident’s physician, pharmacist, and medical personnel as needed.
  • Assists residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility) as outlined in the Resident Care Plan.
  • Participates and attends all required in‑service training and education sessions on schedule.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS, WORK ENVIRONMENT, AND EXPECTED HOURS
:

  • Very active position requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing.
  • Must lift or carry up to 50 lbs and push up to 250 lbs independently.
  • Must use proper body mechanics when assisting residents.
  • Often requires long hours and frequent night and weekend work.

TRAVEL – No travel expected; occasional travel may be required for training sessions or emergency situations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
:

  • College or university degree desired.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
  • Preferred:
    Two years of experience in a similar healthcare position.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
:

  • Fluent reading, writing, speaking, and understanding of English.
  • Ability to meet or exceed company attendance and punctuality standards.
  • Proficiency with electronic records and office equipment.
  • Ability to understand and follow directions.
  • Capability to work with minimal supervision.
