Position Overview

Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (ED) – Georgetown, KY.

Shift

Schedule:

• First Shift – Full time, 36 hrs (7a-7p)
• Second Shift – Full time, 24 hrs (10a-10p)
• Third Shift – Full time, 36 hrs (7p-7a)
• First Shift – Part time, 24 hrs (7a-7p)
• Third Shift – Part time, 24 hrs (7p-7a)

• Implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and creates a caring environment focused on healing and wellness.
• Assessment of patients’ needs.
• Development of patient care plans.
• Provision of direct care.
• Management of patient care delivery.
• Demonstrates leadership skills.
• Supports quality care.
• Maintains customer relations and a healing environment.

• One year of experience.
• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• Bachelor’s or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor’s degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; if not already certified, must obtain BLS within 30 days of hire date.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.
