Carolina Plus Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Full-Time Family Nurse Practitioner to join our care team, working 8-12 hours, daytime shifts. We’re searching for an individual with compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help patients affect lasting change. Primary Responsibilities Include
:

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
• Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients and document results
• Finish charts appropriately and in a timely manner
• Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
• Familiarity with patient age range of six months to geriatric population
• Place IVs and blood draws as required
• Other duties as assigned

Successful Candidates Must Have
:

• Certified FNP and license to practice in SC
• DOT Certification required
• A minimum of six months of experience in an urgent care/ER setting required
• Previous experience in primary care/family medicine preferred
• IVs and drawing blood experience a plus
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
