Registered Nurse, Nights

• Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care
• Participate in interdisciplinary planning
• Perform discharge planning
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization
• Access community resources
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
• May perform Charge Nurse duties

• Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates
• Current BLS certification required
• Evidence of ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment
• Current ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required

Demonstrates expertise in patient care delivery, interdisciplinary planning, and discharge planning while utilizing the nursing process. Holds current licensure as a Registered Nurse and relevant certifications to ensure high-quality care and patient education.
