Geographic Location

  • Serving South Carolina:
    Pee Dee, Midlands, and Low country regions
Mixed Animal Ambulatory Species Breakdown
  • 85%- cattle (beef, cow-calf), sheep, goats, equine, swine, poultry/avian, and camelids
  • 5%- pocket pets, exotics, and wildlife
  • 10%- feline and canine
Compensation
  • Base Salary- $90,000 (0-1 year); $100,000 (2 year +)
  • Relocation/ Signing Bonus- $2,500
  • Emergency- $150/call
Hours of Operation
  • A

    Schedule:

    Appointments-->
    Tuesday
    - Friday: 9:00am-5:00pm (last appointment starting at 3:30pm/4:00pm)
  • B

    Schedule:

    Emergencies-->
    Monday
    - Sunday: on call 8am- 8pm (technician on call as well);
    Saturday 9:30am and 12:30pm appointment
  • Post 60 days doctors will rotate between A & B schedules listed above

Requirements
  • Must be ahighly motivated veterinarian with confidence in clinical decision-making and client communication.
  • Willing to become USDA Accreditated, Category II
  • Foundational knowledge of small animal medicine and surgery, and large animal medicine, surgery, and emergency
  • Ability to perform routine examinations, diagnostics, treatment plans, and emergency medicine under mentorship (direct mentorship for 60 days)
  • Committed to continuously developing skills in:
    • Preventive care and wellness medicine
    • Basic soft tissue surgery (spays, neuters/geldings/castrations, enucleation, and minor procedures)
    • Emergency procedures (triage, nasogastric tubing, palpation, c-section, and dystocia correction)
    • Evidence-based medicine and continuing education
  • Willingness to learn and follow established medical protocols and clinic SOPs
  • Committed to teamwork while maintaining a strong work ethic
