Job Responsibilities
This part‑time position is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking care of customers’ needs, exceeding expectations, bagging merchandise, providing carry‑out and parcel pickup service, loading merchandise into customer vehicles, and returning shopping carts to the store.
Qualifications- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to complete required training and work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
- Language:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English; ability to write simple correspondence in English; ability to present information to customers and associates in English. - Mathematical:
Ability to add and subtract two‑digit numbers. - Reasoning:
Ability to apply common sense and carry out detailed instructions; solve problems with a few concrete variables in standardized situations. - Certifications/Licenses:
Completion of company training including new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, bagger technical skills, and product knowledge. - Minimum age:
Associates must be at least 16 years of age.
- Regularly stand, walk, use hands to hand, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, and smell.
- Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and reach from 6 to 72 inches.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision and depth perception.
- Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme cold.
- Noise level usually moderate.
