Position: UNIQLO Loss Prevention Supervisor (Full-time) - The Shops at Georgetown

Join our grand opening team for our newest Washington DC location coming soon in 2026! Starting salary: $28.00 per hour.

Position Overview

UNIQLO Loss Prevention is responsible for maintaining a safe shopping environment for all customers and employees. The Loss Prevention Supervisor plays a critical role in inventory management and shortage reduction. Daily tasks focus on safety, inventory management and shortage reduction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train store team members on loss prevention and safety policies, procedures and standards; ensure compliance from all store team members.
  • Notify store management/Loss Prevention Manager of any violations and ensure the LP team can identify, apprehend and detain shoplifters following company guidelines.
  • Build productive relationships with the store leadership team and associates; lead associate awareness efforts and generate leads for internal investigations.
  • Focus on proper inventory management, investigate issues and educate the team on proper procedures and shortage reduction strategies.
  • Work with Leadership to strengthen LP culture and partner with the LP Manager to ensure compliance of company policy and procedure.
  • Inspect compliance to company safety policy through store visits, provide direction and training to correct opportunities.
  • Identify safety or loss risks and notify store and loss prevention management to prevent accidents.
  • Support loss prevention management with audits and inventory counts; maintain confidentiality; assist with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of computer applications including security software, CCTV equipment, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local law.
  • Knowledge of surveillance/security equipment and installations.
  • Ability to travel to stores within assigned area.
  • Must be able to work for extended periods of standing or walking the sales floor.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and store personnel.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand for long periods, read computer terminals, push/pull or move objects of at least 50 lbs.
  • Repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting and climbing around sales floor and stockroom.
Schedule Requirements

Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets the business needs, including nights, evenings and weekends.

Full‑Time Availability Requirements

Maintain open availability at least five days per week, averaging 32 hours or more per week based on business seasonality. No more than two days off in the same workweek. Limit scheduling restrictions to no more than three days per week: only one restriction permitted Friday‑Sunday. At least one restriction must be time‑based.
