Preferred Relationship Manager
LOCATION – Georgetown, Kentucky 40324
GENERAL FUNCTIONA sales position responsible for acquisition, growth, and retention of bank customers, focusing on Preferred Program customers and mass affluent prospects. Proactively contact and service customers, conduct needs‑based assessment, and engage partners to fulfill client financial needs. Utilize the Retail Consultative Sales process, partner with the financial center team for referral activity, and work closely with internal sales partners to increase referrals and provide needs‑based solutions.
Work closely with customers to retain and grow current and next‑generation wealth.
- Execute on retail strategies and tactics to increase Preferred Program households, fulfill customer needs, and provide an excellent customer experience while removing roadblocks.
- Build deep relationships with customers to earn status as trusted advisor by leveraging consultative sales and service processes.
- Demonstrate ability to simplify and communicate complex financial concepts.
- Maintain the sales and service environment by actively participating in financial center huddles and meetings to support sales and motivational activities; provide guidance to the team in the referral/sales process with a focus on Preferred customers.
- Maintain a well‑developed working knowledge of the product line; keep up to date and request assistance for further development needs.
- Consistently meet or exceed brokerage sales and referral goals set by management, working in partnership with the Investment Executive.
- Initiate and maintain customer and prospect contact through a variety of methods, including financial center interactions, telemarketing, and participation in seminars and community events.
- Keep current on industry activity and economic environment to anticipate customer needs and proactively provide new solutions.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS AND ABILITIES
REQUIRED
- College degree or equivalent education and experience.
- Experience in a sales environment, preferably in the financial industry.
- Pass consultative selling skills certification and complete ongoing educational requirements.
- Series 6, 63 and insurance licenses required.
- Series 65 must be obtained within 90 calendar days of hire with no more than two attempts in that period.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a revenue‑producing book of business in the mass affluent segment.
- Ability to present a professional image in contact with the public.
- Some local travel required, may work with one or more FCs.
- SAFE Act registration required at time of hire through NMLS.
- Normal office environment.
- Extended computer screen viewing.
- Occasional local and overnight travel as required.
The base salary for this position reflects the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S.; individual salaries within the range vary based on role, experience, education, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with payment based on company, line of business, and/or individual performance.
