Primary responsibilities include:
- Receiving, reviewing, organizing, and tracking suitability or personnel-security packages and supporting documentation.
- Verifying package completeness, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating missing information through authorized channels.
- Maintaining secure case queues, status trackers, suspense dates, handoff records, and completion evidence.
- Protecting PII and sensitive personnel information and applying access and need-to-know controls.
- Supporting reports, data calls, records requests, customer status inquiries, and audit preparation.
- Elevating investigative, access, documentation, or timeliness risks to authorized government and contractor leadership.
Government-stated conditions include:
- Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance. The government recommends an active clearance at hire.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card, installation access, and required government system/network access; performance cannot begin while required access is pending.
- Must read, write, speak, and understand English and maintain professional conduct and appearance.
- Must use government-furnished equipment and authorized systems for performance; unauthorized personal devices or removable media are prohibited on government networks.
- Must complete required security, cyber/IA, OPSEC, anti-terrorism, iWATCH, and local training. Possible CONUS or OCONUS travel may be designated after award.
Requirements include:
- Three or more years of federal suitability, personnel security, background-investigation support, adjudicative support, or closely related case-management experience.
- Experience reviewing case documentation, resolving package deficiencies, managing suspenses, and protecting sensitive personal information.
- Familiarity with federal personnel-security or suitability systems and forms relevant to the assigned work; candidates should identify specific systems on the resume.
- Strong attention to detail, discretion, customer service, records management, and written communication.
- Formal personnel-security, suitability, or adjudicative-support training is preferred but is not stated as a government requirement.
