As a Senior Field Service Technician, you'll operate independently in a company-provided service van, delivering advanced diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on forklifts and material handling equipment across customer sites.

You'll also serve as a technical leader - mentoring junior technicians, setting quality standards, and helping drive operational excellence in the field.

This is not an entry-level role.

What You'll Do

* Diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and material handling equipment at customer locations

* Perform preventative maintenance to maximize uptime and minimize breakdowns

* Operate independently in a fully equipped company service van

* Support warehouse, distribution, and manufacturing environments

* Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems

* Execute first-time-right repairs

* Perform inspections, safety checks, and scheduled service programs

* Maintain fleet equipment to OEM and compliance standards

* Train and support junior technicians

* Share technical knowledge and best practices

* Lead by example in safety, professionalism, and workmanship

* Communicate findings and service recommendations clearly

* Complete accurate service reports, work orders, and repair documentation

* Follow OSHA regulations and safety standards

Who Thrives in This Role

* 5+ years as a field service technician, heavy equipment mechanic, forklift technician, or industrial equipment technician

* Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills

* Experience working independently in the field

* Valid driver's license

* ASE certifications

* Forklift or OEM certifications

* Dealer or industrial service experience

* Familiarity with diagnostic software and digital service platforms
