About the role
The Process Technician supports the processing of all material through the facility, operating heavy equipment such as Trackhoe(s), Skid Steer, Tractor trucks (non‑CDL Driver) with or without attachments, Forklifts, and other required equipment. The role complies with all OSHA, SCDHEC, and DOT requirements while maximizing production and minimizing expenses, SAFELY.
Primary Responsibilities- Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, procedures and acting in a safe manner, at all times.
- Performs all job‑related functions in a safe, honest, ethical, and compliant fashion.
- Maintains a "Safety First" approach to all tasks and understands that operating safely is the most important thing we do.
- Coordinates production based on lab results.
- Maintains OSHA, DHEC and DOT (if applicable) training requirements for self.
- Operates heavy equipment to include Trackhoe(s), Skid Steer, Tractor trucks (non‑CDL Driver) with or without attachments, Forklift and other required equipment as needed.
- Motivates workers and promotes a team environment.
- Completes required paperwork including timecard, operational documents, JSA’s and Safety Audits and inspections.
- Is a team player and leads by example.
- Performs other duties and tasks assigned by the company as required.
- GED/HS Diploma preferred – Reworld offers GED Works, a fully funded program for employees to achieve their GED.
- Demonstrates a strong mechanical ability.
- Good driving record and valid state‑issued Driver’s License.
- Ability to pass background checks, drug and alcohol screens, and other required safety training.
- Requires standing, walking, carrying, stooping, crouching, sitting, grasping, climbing ladder and stairs, and reaching.
- May require lifting, pulling and/or pushing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical activity.
- Ability to work flexible hours or weekends during emergency situations such as shredder is down.
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments for extended periods of time (hot > 90°F and cold < 32°F).
Monday‑Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Could have some Saturdays).

It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable).
Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future. The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $42,700.00 - $56,800.00 USD. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary. To calculate the hourly rate, divide by 2080.
