Job Title:
Plumbing Supervisor
Reports to the Director of Maintenance
Position RequirementsWe are seeking a highly experienced Plumbing Supervisor with a minimum of 10 years in the plumbing industry to lead and oversee plumbing operations. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in supervising plumbing teams, coordinating projects, and ensuring quality workmanship. This role requires effective communication and reporting to the Director of Maintenance while collaborating closely with other supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
High School Diploma required. Must have a valid SC license.
- Supervise and manage daily plumbing activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other department supervisors to align work schedules and project timelines.
- Communicate effectively with the Director of Maintenance, providing regular updates, progress reports, and addressing in issues promptly.
- Lead mentor and develop plumbing team members, fostering a productive and motivated work environment.
- Plan, schedule and oversee plumbing maintenance repairs, and installation projects to ensure timely and efficient completion.
- Inspect work performed by plumbing staff for quality assurance and adherence to specifications.
- Manage inventory of plumbing materials and equipment, ensuring availability and proper usage.
- Troubleshoot complex plumbing problems and recommend solutions.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure team compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on plumbing experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to coordinate and collaborate with multiple departments effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organization and problem-solving skills.
