The South Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking an experienced automotive technician to diagnose and repair mechanical problems across motorized and specialty construction equipment in a large shop setting.
Responsibilities include maintenance of gasoline and diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems, plus welding fabrication and testing with diagnostic equipment. A Class A CDL must be obtained within six months of placement, with safety rules enforced.
