South Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking an equipment shop technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain motorized and specialty construction equipment in a large garage setting.
Under general supervision, this position diagnoses, repairs or replaces parts on gasoline and diesel engines, performs welding fabrication, electrical repairs, and preventive maintenance to keep equipment in service. A valid driver's license required;
Class A CDL within six months of placement.
