Position Description AdvertisedJob Summary
Under the general supervision of the Program Manager, sustains and provides technical assistance to Food Share’s statewide network. Contributes to the development of the program infrastructure and provides training and technical assistance to Food Share hubs across the state, especially in rural areas. Supports new hub recruitment, identification and mobilization. Demonstrates commitment to conduct business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and regulations.
This position is established in support of expanded research activities.
Required Education And Experience
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven networking, community engagement, relationship-building, and/or partnership development experience.
- A demonstrated commitment to food justice and/or community development.
- Strong ability to manage time and priorities while working efficiently, accurately, and under general supervision.
- Required to conduct business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and regulations.
Represents Food Share SC at county-level coalitions, promoting the Fresh Food Box for food access needs. Develops relationships with community-based organizations (CBOs) to identify new hubs and build support for new hub operators. Onboards new hubs in compliance readiness requirements.
