Job SummaryA successful incumbent is expected to (i) design, develop, test, implement, and support application functionality within the (SFDC) environment and (ii) work with functional analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements, contribute to completion of functional specifications, and create technical design specifications.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, implement, and support application functionality within the (SFDC) environment.
- Work with functional analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements; contribute to completion of functional specifications; create technical design specifications.
- Develop changes to applications to meet functional and technical designs following best practices and development standards and guidelines.
- Create deliverables according to the Software Development Lifecycle such as functional and technical specifications, use cases, test cases, and system documentation.
- Unit test application changes to ensure quality of work; analyze, debug, and resolve defects in applications.
- Support production systems; proactively monitor systems to enable smooth operations; analyze and resolve production problems in a timely manner; resolve end-user service requests.
- Develop web applications and web services using Salesforce, Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, or other web development technologies such as SOAP, REST, and XML.
- Drive optimization of Chamberlain Group's Cloud workflows and processes.
- Continually revise and streamline production processes to increase efficiencies and/or effectiveness.
- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; protect the company’s reputation by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent. - Certifications:
Salesforce Developer and Experience Cloud Certification preferred and/or equivalent Salesforce Developer experience. - Experience:
3+ years as an application developer in a SFDC environment. - Skills:
Lightning Web Components, Visual Workflows, Visual Force Pages/Components, Salesforce Data Loader, Apex (Triggers, Classes, Data Loader), Salesforce Lightning, Experience Builder, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, JAVA, intermediate Flow building skill set. - Project management, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with technology integrators and IT resources.
- Experience with Boomi, SAP BTP, or equivalent middleware/integration tools.
- Intermediate knowledge with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud.
- Experience integrating phone system solutions to Service Cloud.
- Experience writing and grooming effective user stories.
- Additional certifications preferred:
Platform Developer II, Experience Cloud, Service Consultant, Manufacturing Cloud, Platform App Builder. - Strong analytical skills;
Salesforce MVC Model; familiarity with Dell Boomi, SAP BTP, Federated Search tools, single sign-on configuration, browser development, app integration. - Strong knowledge of SQL Server, SOQL, SOSL, Process Builder, Workflow, and Approval processes.
The pay range for this position is $76,600.00 – $; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, a comprehensive benefits package and 401(k) contribution (subject to eligibility requirements) are offered. The position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
