RCAs case, deliver, and collect mail along a prescribed rural route using a vehicle and provide customers on the route with a variety of services.

Part-time, non-career; may lead to a full-time career position.

• Sorts mail in delivery sequence for the assigned route.
• Receives and signs for accountable mail.
• Loads mail in vehicle.
• Delivers and collects mail along the route.
• Provides mail security at all times.
• Follows established safe work methods and procedures.

• Valid state driver's license.
• Safe driving record.
• At least two years of unsupervised experience driving passenger cars or larger, within the U.S. or its territories.
• Ability to provide a vehicle sufficient for mail delivery if not provided by employer; may receive Equipment Maintenance Allowance if required to provide own vehicle.
• Ability to deliver from the right-hand side of the vehicle.
• Physical ability: moderate to heavy lifting, carrying, prolonged standing, reaching, walking.
• Flexible with little to no lead time or advance notice for schedule changes; willingness to work holidays and weekends.
