The South Carolina Department of Transportation seeks a maintenance worker to support shoulders, ditches, and roadside right-of-way. You will assist the maintenance crew, perform cleanup of pipe and mailboxes, and help install signs and posts along roadways.
This role requires a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and, within six months, attainment of a Class A CDL. You should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors in all weather, and operate basic hand tools and chain saws as needed.
