Job Title
Material Handler 1

Job SummaryStacking boxes and palletizing material using pallet jacks. Candidates may eventually be trained to use forklift/reach truck.
Work ScheduleHours:
8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, possible Saturdays as requested. Candidate can start while background checks are pending. Eye exam required.
- Process customer orders, including scanning bar codes, picking and labeling boxes.
- Pick and pack orders using RF technology.
- Maintain an acceptable work area as outlined in SOP and work instructions.
- Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP.
- Complete all necessary RF device training to obtain necessary profiles.
- Verify accuracy and package shipments; palletize completed orders.
- Re-palletize products for shipment.
- Perform dock manifest duties, including scanning completed pallets and operating shrink wrapper.
- Transport pallets by walking MHE if required.
- Follow safety instructions, maintain safe working conditions, and adhere to proper operating practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Adhere to attendance policies.
- Maintain current status in C2C training modules.
- Assist in maintaining security of the warehouse.
- Report injuries, accidents, unsafe acts, hazards, or conditions immediately.
- Maintain a clean, professional, and orderly work area.
- Cross‑train and assist in other warehouse positions as needed.
- High School diploma, GED, or one year of relevant experience.
- Experience with Walkie Ryder (motorized pallet jack) preferred.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks or projects.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced distribution environment.
- Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- May be required to operate MHE and use Voice/RF scanner.
- Ability to perform/operate in a metrics‑driven environment.
- Basic analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- General distribution knowledge.
- Must be able to perform essential functions of the position, with or without accommodation. Accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
The position requires walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, crouching, reaching, pushing/pulling, grasping, twisting, lifting, and frequent use of hands and fingers. May occasionally climb. Lifting up to 50 lbs in some areas. Exposure to moving mechanical equipment.
