Tower Shipping Lead

Position Overview

As a Tower Shipping Lead, you’ll become a part of this mission by leading the team that ensures the shipping functions at your facility run in an efficient manner to guarantee customer satisfaction.

Hourly: $26 per hour

Shift: Night Shift (Sunday to Wednesday) beginning at 6pm

Full Time

• Preparing documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route products
• Recording shipping data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record‑keeping purposes
• Conferring and corresponding with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damage and non‑conformance to specifications
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
• Assisting the Supervisor with varied office and dock responsibilities, including filing

Grocery (dry goods). Temperature typically between 50° and 90°.

• At least six months of warehouse experience
• At least a year of leadership experience (preferred)
• Electric pallet jack experience (preferred)
• Strong planning and execution skills
• Strong team orientation and collaboration to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization
• Ability and willingness to follow all safety policies and procedures
