Parts and Logistics Specialist

We are seeking aParts and Logistics Specialist to support our growing generator service team. In this role,you’llbe responsible formaintainingaccurateinventory,sourcing and ordering parts,coordinating shipments, and ensuring technicians have what they need to keep customer power systems online. As a Parts and Logistics Specialist, you will be accountable for parts management, vendor coordination, and warehouse operations to support efficient field service delivery.

• Inventory Management:
  
  Maintainaccuratestock levels of generator parts, filters, fluids, and consumables; perform regular cycle counts.
• Parts Ordering & Procurement:
  Source, order, and track parts from vendors; negotiate pricing and lead times to reduce downtime.
• Warehouse Operations:
  Organize warehouse space for efficient storage and retrieval;maintaina safe, clean, and compliant environment.
• Technician Support:
  Prepare and issue parts kits for scheduled planned maintenance, repairs, and emergency service calls.
• Shipping & Receiving:
  Process incoming shipments, verify accuracy against purchase orders, and ensuretimelydistribution to field teams.
• Vendor Coordination:
  Develop strong relationships with suppliers andlogisticspartners to ensuredependable part availability.
• Documentation & Reporting:
  
  Maintain records of purchases, usage, and inventory adjustments in company systems.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with Service Manager, Dispatch, and Technicians to align inventory with service schedules.
• Safety & Compliance:
  Follow OSHA, NFPA, and company standards for safe handling of parts, chemicals, and equipment.

• 2+ years of experience in warehouse,logistics, or parts management (preferably in industrial service or power-generation industry).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of basic mechanical/electrical parts preferred.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems or ERP software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 75 lbs. and work in warehouse and outdoor conditions.
• Valid driver’slicense and ability tooperatecompany vehicles asneeded.
• Ability to be certified/licensed tooperatea forklift.
