We're looking for a Senior Data & Applications Engineer who is energized by using technology to solve complex business problems. You'll help design and implement enterprise solutions spanning data engineering, business applications, systems integration, automation, analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning while partnering with business leaders to identify opportunities where technology can improve operations, enhance decision-making, and enable new services that differentiate Sun Health.

Key Responsibilities:
As a senior member of the Data & Applications team, you'll design, develop, and support enterprise technology solutions across a broad range of platforms and technologies.
Your work may include:
- Designing enterprise data integrations and Microsoft Fabric solutions.
- Building Power BI reporting and analytics solutions.
- Administering and enhancing enterprise applications such as Jira, Smartsheet, and SharePoint.
- Developing REST API integrations and automation solutions.
- Working directly with business leaders to understand challenges and design practical technology solutions.
- Designing intelligent automation and AI- and machine learning-enabled solutions that improve outcomes, support better decision-making, and create new organizational capabilities.
- Mentoring teammates, sharing knowledge, and helping establish technical best practices.
No two days are exactly alike. One day you may be designing a data integration, the next building an automation, implementing an enterprise application, or helping shape how artificial intelligence and machine learning create new value for the organization.
Your
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, data analytics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 to 8 years of progressively responsible experience in data engineering, enterprise applications, systems integration, business intelligence, automation, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience developing and supporting enterprise data integrations, reporting solutions, and business applications, including administering or configuring enterprise applications and automated workflows.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, Power BI, or comparable technologies.
- Preferred: experience integrating ERP, CRM, HRIS, fundraising, EHR, or similar enterprise systems, and experience within healthcare, nonprofit, or senior living organizations.
