Requirements
  • You must have a minimum of 18 months of RN work experience.
  • You must have a minimum of 12 months of recent work experience on a Progressive Care Unit (within the last year and a half).
  • BLS and ACLS is required upon hire.
  • Orientation is a full time, week‑long commitment. You must be available to attend both virtual and in‑person training classes during your first week.
Unit Description

As a RN on our General PCU 3W/3B at Banner Del Webb, you will work on our combined unit including both a 15‑bed private room unit as well as our 29‑bed semi‑private room unit utilizing your knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to assess data, plan and provide high‑quality, safe and efficient care for our patients. This unit participates in our Progress In Place initiative, meaning the patients cared for on our units have a variety of medical conditions and we serve both Medical Surgical and Progressive Care acuity patients.

Whether a patient is post‑surgical, or one who is battling a COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, pancreatitis, renal failure or hypoxia, you will have the opportunity to drive their plan of care and maximize your nursing practice. Our RNs utilize critical thinking to drive patient care and outcomes.

This is a unique assignment‑based PRN position, meaning that you will be dedicated to only one specific unit at this facility. No floating to any other unit or facility. We have Day shift openings,
7am - 7:30pm with a 2 shift per month minimum, specific to this unit. This position offers a generous 18% night‑differential and an additional flat rate weekend differential of $3/hour when applicable.

This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
