General Manager

The General Manager will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading a new manufacturing plant. This position demands a seasoned professional with a strong engineering background and extensive experience in automation. The candidate will oversee the plant's operations, ensuring efficient production while fostering a culture of commitment and empowerment among employees. The role involves significant travel during the initial phases to facilitate training and development across multiple locations.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the organization and driving its growth trajectory in a competitive industry.

• Lead the establishment and operational management of a new manufacturing plant
• Oversee production processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety standards
• Manage P&L responsibilities and drive financial performance
• Serve as the primary point of contact for recruitment and organizational development
• Collaborate with existing leaders while managing a team of direct reports
• Travel as necessary to training facilities and operational sites
• Foster a culture of trust and strategic thinking within the organization

• Start-up experience in a manufacturing setting is essential
• An engineering background in electrical or mechanical fields is required
• Proven experience in automation is necessary
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in manufacturing
• At least 7 years in a senior leadership role, such as General Manager
• A BA Degree is preferred
• Military experience is preferred
