Travel Nurse RN - Radiology

Overview

TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Radiology for a travel nursing job in Sun City, Arizona.

• Administer prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts using radiation therapy equipment
• Position patients accurately and comfortably for each treatment session
• Verify treatment settings and patient identity before delivering therapy
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort
• Use imaging technology (e.g., CT, X-rays) to guide accurate treatment delivery
• Document treatment details and maintain accurate patient records
• Communicate effectively with physicians, dosimetrists, and other team members
• Educate patients and families on procedures, side effects, and care during treatment
• Inspect, maintain, and calibrate radiation therapy equipment regularly
• Follow strict radiation safety protocols for both patients and staff

The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist. Required certifications include a current ARRT (T) and BLS
. State licensure may be required.

As part of the role, Radiation Therapists should be able to stand for long periods, work precisely with complex equipment, and offer compassionate care in emotionally sensitive situations.
