Lead Business Analyst
We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst to support a large-scale Reinsurance Modernization Program. This is a hybrid position combining business analysis (50%) and project/reporting leadership (50%). The role requires acting as a key liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and leadership to drive requirements, lead reporting efforts, and ensure successful delivery across a complex transformation initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering and stakeholder interviews across business and IT teams.
- Document business processes, workflows, and create process maps.
- Translate business needs into clear deliverables for technical teams.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), testing coordination, and issue resolution.
- Own project reporting, status updates, and executive communications.
- Track milestones, risks, and overall project progress.
- Lead reporting work streams and ensure alignment with delivery timelines.
- Represent the team in key ceremonies such as PI Planning and Scrum of Scrums.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience.
- Hands-on experience in reinsurance as a Business Analyst or Product Owner.
- Experience supporting or leading business-driven projects or work streams.
- Experience with project reporting, status tracking, and executive communications.
- Proven ability to engage and communicate with senior stakeholders and leadership.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA and Power BI.
- Exposure to Duck Creek or similar insurance platforms.
- Experience working with distributed or global teams.
