Position: Med-Surg Nurse (RN) in Sun Prairie, WI
Deliver patient-centered care and expand your clinical experience in a Medical-Surgical setting. This contract position offers the chance to collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team while providing essential support to adult patients. You'll play a key role in monitoring conditions, administering medications, and supporting recovery throughout each patient's healthcare journey.

Qualifications and

Experience:

• Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Recent experience within a Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) unit
• Proficiency in patient assessment, IV therapy, and care planning
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks and respond calmly in urgent situations
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation protocols
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
  Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in accordance with established protocols
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately
• Implement physician orders and treatment plans
• Monitor for changes in patient status, intervening as needed and reporting to the appropriate provider
• Administer medications and perform necessary procedures such as wound care, catheter insertion, and IV therapy
• Educate patients and families on condition management and discharge plans
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and patient safety standards
