Medical Assistant – Primary Care Job Sunbury area,Ohio USA,Healthcare

Assist with direct patient care and perform routine specialized medical procedures according to established clinical protocols
Assist medical and nursing staff in examining and treating patients
Room patients and measure and record vital signs
Complete patient interviews and histories
Prepare patients for examinations, tests, and treatments and explain procedures
Assist with physician-ordered procedures, examinations, treatments, and special tests
Set up equipment and prepare medical treatment rooms
Collect blood, urine, and sputum samples and perform routine laboratory tests
Manage and organize the medical office inbox and ensure timely, accurate communication
Receive incoming patient information and gather necessary data for healthcare providers

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
One of the following: a diploma from a Medical Assistant Program; minimum of 1 year of medical assisting experience;
Military Medic training; EMT-P (Paramedic) training; or equivalent of 1 year combined relevant medical assisting experience and education
Medical Assistant Certification preferred
On-site work in Sunbury, Ohio
