Under the direction of a Physician or Lead Physician, you will collaborate with physicians to provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, and evaluation of patients in an outpatient clinic setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform history and physical examinations on new and return patients; establish presumptive diagnoses and order appropriate laboratory studies and testing.
• Work in collaboration with physicians to formulate treatment plans and follow‑up.
• Conduct comprehensive or episodic health assessments and develop patient care plans within clinical nursing practice and medical care protocols; review and assess patient medications.
• Evaluate outcomes of care delivered to patients and initiate changes in the nursing approach accordingly.
• Triage clinic patient calls, notify physicians of needs, and follow up with patients as directed.

• Current Ohio Registered Nursing License.
• Master’s degree in nursing and successful completion of an acceptable Nurse Practitioner education program or Physician Assistant Program.
• Ideally 2–3 years of experience as a nurse practitioner.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or PA, including Prescriptive Authority.
• Knowledge of triage procedures and experience in a clinic, physician office, and/or urgent care setting.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.
• Knowledge of appropriate procedures and standards for the administration of medications and patient care aids.
• Ability to educate and clearly communicate with patients and/or families about disease and treatment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
• Poise, tact, and diplomacy in patient interactions.
• Analytical ability and critical thinking to gather and interpret data and develop, recommend, and implement solutions.
