Job Overview
Customer Service Specialists work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin‑Williams products, and recommend the right solutions. They promptly resolve customer concerns, maintain product quality and visual standards, and achieve excellent customer service while consistently meeting sales goals.
Position:
Full‑time at stores within a 15‑mile radius of Store #721376 (119 State Route 3, Sunbury, OH 43074). Hiring rate: $17.50/hr.
Due to the nature of contact with customers, access to cash, personal information, and store merchandise, a review of criminal history is required to protect safety and company reputation.
Responsibilities- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
- Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers
- Process sales transactions accurately in accordance with policies and procedures
- Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- Maintain precise work order files and documentation
- Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse
- Tint and mix products as needed to customer specifications
- Stock shelves and set up displays
- Clean store equipment
- Load/unload delivery trucks and assist in deliveries as needed
- Maintain in‑stock and presentable condition of assigned areas
- Remain knowledgeable on products and discuss available options
- Comply with inventory control procedures
- Suggest ways to improve sales
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
- Ability to retrieve material from shelves and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
- Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
- Experience selling paint and paint‑related products
- Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language, including Spanish
