Plumbing Superintendent

R.T. Moore Co., Inc. is seeking a Plumbing Superintendent I to lead field plumbing operations on residential and multi-family construction projects. This role oversees crews, coordinates schedules, ensures code-compliant installations, and drives jobsite safety and quality. You'll interpret plans, manage materials and subcontractors, and collaborate closely with project managers and builders to keep projects on time and on budget. As a working leader, you'll mentor apprentices, support training, and model craftsmanship and integrity while delivering reliable mechanical solutions for our customers and communities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise plumbing crews on residential and multi-family projects
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily field plumbing activities
• Ensure installations meet code, specifications, and quality standards
• Enforce jobsite safety policies and conduct safety checks
• Interpret blueprints, plans, and submittals for layout and installation
• Manage material orders, deliveries, and onsite inventory
• Coordinate with project managers, GC, and other trades to meet deadlines
• Inspect and troubleshoot plumbing systems and resolve field issues
• Train, mentor, and evaluate apprentices and field plumbers
• Document progress, report issues, and support project closeout
