£33,058 + Company Van + On-Call + Overtime
We're looking for an experienced Building Fabric Engineer to join our Facilities Management team, providing maintenance support across a portfolio of hospitality sites within your local area.
As a Building Fabric Engineer, you'll carry out a variety of reactive and planned building maintenance tasks, ensuring properties remain safe, compliant and well maintained. This is a mobile role, working independently while supporting the wider FM team when required.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out general building fabric maintenance, including joinery, doors, flooring and minor building repairs.
* Respond to reactive maintenance callouts and complete repairs within agreed service levels.
* Undertake planned preventative maintenance and routine building inspections.
* Complete basic external maintenance, including boarding, fencing and general site repairs.
* Work closely with other engineers and contractors to deliver high-quality maintenance services.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with Health & Safety procedures.
* Provide excellent customer service while working across occupied commercial premises.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience working as a Building Fabric Engineer or Building Fabric Technician.
* Strong background in building maintenance with joinery or multi-trade skills.
* Experience carrying out reactive and planned maintenance within commercial or hospitality environments.
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
* Full UK driving licence.
What's on Offer
* £33,058 basic salary.
* £150 per week on-call allowance (1 in 4 rota).
* Overtime paid at 1.5x.
