The Role We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance & Automation Technician to support a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
You’ll be responsible for keeping automated production equipment running safely and efficiently, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding and supporting continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic fault-finding
Maintenance of automated manufacturing equipmentPLC, robotics & HMI support
Preventative and reactive maintenance
Installation and optimisation of new equipment
Root-cause analysis and continuous improvement
Working to LOTO, 5S and Safe Systems of Work Essential ExperienceHNC in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or related discipline
Time-served electrical apprenticeship
Hands-on KUKA and/or ABB robotics experience
Strong Siemens TIA Portal experience
Certified PLC programming capability
Experience with Atlas Copco/Ingersoll Rand tooling
Vision system experience
