Mobile Electrical Supervisor
Location:
Portsmouth Salary: £47,025 + Sign-On Bonus
Hours:
40 hours per week We’re looking for an experienced Mobile Electrical Supervisor with a can-do attitude and flexible approach to join our team.
- Electrical testing, inspection and certification
- Reactive repairs and fault finding
- Full electrical rewiring
- Electrical installations to kitchens and bathrooms
- Electrical installations for commercial heating systems
- Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults
- Ensuring all work complies with 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations and relevant British Standards
- Supporting the team and participating in an out-of-hours/on-call rota
We’re looking for someone who is technically strong, safety-focused and confident working independently while supporting and supervising others. You’ll need:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent – essential
- C&G 2391 Inspecting & Testing or equivalent – essential
- 18th Edition – essential
- AM2 qualification – essential
- Full current UK driving licence – essential
- CSCS card – desirable
- 3+ years’ experience in the building maintenance industry
- Ideally 2+ years’ supervisory experience
You should have strong experience across domestic and commercial electrical works, with a practical approach to health & safety and excellent communication skills.
Important Clearance RequirementsDue to the nature of the role, all successful candidates must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check and SC Clearance.
