Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic / Diagnostic Technician

Location:

Sunderland
Salary: £38,000 - £52,500 Realistic Annual Earnings

Hours:

40 hours Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm + 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am-12:30pm
Alternative:
Fixed 4-day week available - Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, 42 hours

The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs while ensuring vehicles meet the highest technical and safety standards.

Responsibilities include:

· Carrying out servicing and routine maintenance

· Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults

· Completing technical repairs to manufacturer standards

· Conducting vehicle inspections and health checks

· Using diagnostic equipment and manufacturer technical information

· Completing accurate job cards and repair documentation

· Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer care
 
About You
You'll ideally have:

· City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent

· Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician

· Full UK Driving Licence

· Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

· Good attention to detail and commitment to quality

· A positive, professional and team-focused approach
