Controller, Accounting, Financial Reporting

CV Resources is partnering with a well-established organization to identify a Controller who will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, audit coordination, and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting and finance operations
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
• Support annual audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Monitor internal controls and financial policies
• Support grant and contract accounting functions
• Partner with department leaders to provide financial guidance and reporting
• Maintain accounting systems and reporting tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit processes
• Experience with government, grant, nonprofit, educational, or public-sector accounting is highly preferred
