Responsibilities- Responsible for balancing and auditing for accurate room revenue, cashier's reports, guest and house accounts and telephone revenue; assisting the preparation of all reports relevant to daily revenues.
- Transmit credit card batches.
- Complete and transmit daily management and accounting reports and supporting documents.
- Acts as hotel system liaison during night hours.
- Performs all Guest Service Representative functions as required, such as booking room reservations, answering hotel phone calls and notifying guests of messages.
- Basic mathematical skills and ability to make accurate mathematical calculations using a 10‑key.
- Ability to effectively deal with guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
- Make responsible judgment calls on quest issues during the overnight shift.
- Make corrections and adjustments and handle all computer problems that might occur throughout the shift.
- Must have good trouble shooting skills.
- Answer routine questions from co‑workers.
- Lead completion of daily tasks within the department or work unit.
- Interact with others when necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Always maintain complete confidentiality of all company information.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by department and/or company management.
- Follow all cleaning, sanitation, and PPE position specific guidelines.
- This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Six months related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have a High School diploma or GED.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications.
- Must be able to read and write in English and have good verbal communicating skills.
- Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, fractions, decimals, percentages, etc.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSEmployee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
