Job Summary and QualificationsThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-focused care and coordinates all unit functions during shifts. Working alongside the management team, the CNC directs and evaluates nursing care in line with established procedures, serves as a resource for staff, and exemplifies the organization’s mission and values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitates patient admissions and discharges to optimize care quality and efficiency.
- Assesses and collaborates on the quality of patient services provided in the unit.
- Promotes teamwork and improved service outcomes through collaboration with management and experts.
- Engages in service recovery to uphold our patient-first philosophy.
- Enhances staff engagement through nursing strategies like employee and hourly rounding.
- Contributes to staff recruitment, training, and development to improve the organization.
- Assists in staff scheduling, managing labor in accordance with patient care needs.
- Monitors inventory and assists with supply management.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
