Registered Nurse - Intensive Nursing Care Unit; Part Time

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Position located at Del Sol Medical Center in east El Paso, Texas.

• Provide professional nursing care to patients using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with other members of the health care delivery team, including physicians, to deliver quality health care.
• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.

• Current Registered Nursing License in the state of Texas or Compact state – Required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing Science – Preferred.
• Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing – Required.
• Medical/Surgical Nursing experience – Preferred.
• Medical Surgical ANCC Certification – Preferred.
• Reads and writes basic English – Required.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency – Required.
