Position Summary

Transport Coordinator

• Supervise daily activities of the unit and staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Coordinate staff efforts to meet the needs of patients and customers.
• Increase quality of patient care through educational and QI programs.
• Provide expert knowledge, leadership, and education for individuals within the unit.
• Develop educational programs to enhance staff’s knowledge of current trends in nursing.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a quality improvement process for the unit.
• Perform chart audits for quality improvement of documentation and risk reduction to maintain and/or improve patient outcomes.
• Anticipate and improve staffing based on unit needs.
• Collaborate and assist the Administrative Director and Director in developing and implementing projects that enhance the quality of the unit.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• STABLE must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• RN, Registered Nurse, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
• No Travel Required.
• 3 years experience required.
