Job Summary
As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) at Del Sol Medical Center, you will ensure and deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care while coordinating all unit functions during your shift. In collaboration with the management team, you will direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies and serve as a key resource for staff, supporting the organization’s vision and values to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to maintain efficient throughput and high‑quality care.
- Participate in ongoing quality assessments of patient care services in collaboration with management.
- Collaborate with subject‑matter experts and managers to foster teamwork that improves outcomes and service delivery.
- Support a patient‑first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Implement nursing strategies such as employee rounding and hourly rounds to enhance engagement and operational effectiveness.
- Recommend, interview, and train new staff; recommend and help implement courses of action including training, conflict resolution, and performance evaluation.
- Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor resources to align with patient‑care demands and productivity guidelines.
- Maintain inventory control, assisting with the management of supplies and equipment.
- Current registered nurse license in the state(s) of practice or an active compact license.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- At least one year of experience in a rehabilitation setting.
