Position type:
Full‑time | Salary: $29.91 per year.
- Work with attendance personnel to monitor daily attendance of identified at‑risk students.
- Collect teacher referrals for failing students, screen the referrals, and recommend placement in interventions.
- Assist in the management of school and after‑school academic intervention systems.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data to identify and track students with at‑risk factors.
- Collaborate with intervention systems and support.
- Motivate and promote student success by working with students and teachers to ensure identified at‑risk students pass all classes.
- Assist in the continued development of a positive school culture and climate.
- Confer with parents, teachers, counselors, support service personnel, and students on matters of academic and attendance intervention.
- Make appropriate referrals to psychologists, social workers, and other support personnel.
- Collaborate with math and literacy coaches to support highly capable students, focusing on preparation for higher education.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student records and information.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience
- B.A. in Education preferred.
- Experience working with high school or middle school students.
- Bi‑literate in English and Spanish preferred.
- Able to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
Other Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must upload a copy of a college diploma or transcript.
- Valid photo identification.
- Social Security Card.
- WSP/FBI fingerprint/background clearance.

Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrate interpersonal skills to work with students of diverse academic and behavioral needs.
- Demonstrate experience, interest, and willingness to work with students, parents, school personnel, and outside agencies.
- Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
- Sensitivity to cultural and language differences.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to produce accurate documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database, and computer software.
