Our client, a leading hardware technology company at the forefront of large-scale computing innovation, is seeking a Senior Cost Accounting Manager to support its rapidly scaling operations.

Location: This position is based in Sunnyvale, CA, with 3 days per week onsite.

Job Description: This role offers high visibility within the organization and the opportunity to build scalable processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The team is collaborative, analytical, and deeply involved in enabling both Finance and Operations.

• Assess, capitalize, and allocate inventory-related costs, including rebates, manufacturing yield losses, overhead, and freight/tariff accruals.
• Prepare monthly inventory reconciliations, journal entries, and inventory-in-transit accruals; ensure correct classification of RM, WIP, and FG.
• Track FG movements and perform COGS-related analysis, including margin flux reviews and RMA accounting.
• Coordinate physical inventory counts with Operations and auditors; support internal and external audit requests.
• Drive improvements in inventory close processes, data structure, and system accuracy while partnering cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CMA with strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
• 7+ years of progressive cost accounting experience in manufacturing or hardware?intensive environments.
• Strong Net Suite experience and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to thrive in high?growth, fast-paced environments with unstructured data and evolving processes.
